This annual San Diego Chapter event gets better and better. It's a quick and scenic drive down to Spanish Landing (across from the airport), and then the fun starts. You can enter your car in the contest or just look and drool.
There are some great auction items and your contributions go to a charitable cause.

Autocross #2 @ Auto Club Speedway
Imagine your favorite twisty road. Now place yourself on that road driving as fast as you dare, without the danger of cars traveling the other way, law enforcement getting cranky, and little Johnny running into the road after his lost ball, and unyielding objects at the side of the road. What’s left is the thrill of the driving without the risk of life, limb or license. THAT is what autocross is all about!
The gates open at 6:00. Registration and tech open at 7:00. There will be a mandatory driver's meeting at 8:30. First car out will be at 9:00. The event will end by 5:00 or dusk.

Mike and Teresa Ward have organized the annual BMW CCA LA Wine Tour for years and they know how to put on a great event.
As usual, you can opt for either one or two nights of lodging. Both options include meals. Since the chapter put on our first wine tour the Santa Ynez Valley has grown and matured and is now known as one of the premier wine producing areas in the nation. Why not visit it with friends and BMW's?

Tire Rack Street Survival - South Orange County
Hosted by BMW CCA, Los Angeles Chapter
Last year, over 5,000 teenagers died in motor vehicle crashes. Even more were badly injured.
The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® program is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations!
This program is open to all teenaged drivers. The cost is $75 which includes classroom sessions, lunch and a dedicated in-car coach.
Co-hosted by Pacific Concours d’ Elegance in Dana Point. All students and their parents will be provided with free tickets to the Concours on Sunday.

Tire Rack Street Survival - Fresno
Hosted by the Central California Chapter.
BMW Car Club of America Foundation has partnered with Tire Rack to develop a non-profit, national driver education program aimed at teaching teens the skills they need to stay alive behind the wheel.
Tire Rack Street Survival® is an all-day driving program which uses both classroom and in-car instruction to provide young drivers with the real world experience they need to survive on the road. Using experienced instructors in a controlled environment, the students participate in a variety of exercises such as accident avoidance, skid recovery and emergency braking.
Open to any driver between the ages of 16 and 21. Students do not need to be BMW CCA members. Students should bring the car they normally drive.
The Tire Rack Street Survival® registration fee is only $75.
